A goat's dreamland
CAMERA AND YARD INFOA 24/7 live view of a farm yard, we have chickens, ducks, geese and goats. The weather info is from a station at the yard. We are located on the north east coast of America. The camera is an IP 3 megapixel, facing a north west direction, it switches automatically to night vision when the light becomes dim. There is also an infrared illuminator so the camera can see at night. The sound is from a single zone POE microphone. The camera has a 90 degree field of view. What you see of the yard is a small portion of the area the animals are allowed to roam. There are 3 paddocks that we rotate so the animals have some thing green to eat. The most active area is in front of the camera, the housing is to the left, there is a chicken coop and a goat shed. To the right are 2 automatic waterers , salt lick and a platform. The structure you see behind the trees is for the goats, we call it the goat highway, it is roughly 20 feet square and 12 feet high at its tallest point. There is a small pond below the goat highway. The chickens are all different breeds. The geese are blue eyed Embden, the ducks are indian runners. The goat with horns is a Nubian pygmy, female, the brown goat is a cross between a Nigerian dwarf and Tennessee fainting goat and he is a wether. With luck we will get some new goats this spring from a neighboring farm.
